How to store sandy latex gloves(One)

Sandy latex gloves, due to their excellent anti-slip properties and comfortable wearing, are widely used in various

industries, including auto repair, chemical processing, and assembly. When purchasing convenient commercial

packaging such as "12 pairs/transparent bag," proper storage is crucial to the gloves' lifespan and protective

performance. Improper storage can lead to glove stickiness, hardening, loss of the sandy layer, and even

premature failure. This article will provide you with a comprehensive and scientific storage plan.

Five Key Storage Steps

1. Strictly Protect from Light: The Achilles' Heel of Transparent Packaging

Core Risk: Transparent plastic bags cannot block UV rays.

Direct sunlight or strong fluorescent light can penetrate the packaging, directly breaking the latex molecular chains,

causing yellowing, brittleness, and hardening, and even chalking of the frosted layer.

Correct Practice:

* Store the entire bag of gloves in a cabinet, drawer, or on the inside of a shelf, away from direct sunlight.

* If storing on an open shelf, cover with dark cloth, cardboard, or opaque boxes to physically protect from light.

2. Environmental Control: Create a stable microenvironment.

Temperature: The ideal storage temperature is 10°C - 25°C. Keep away from heat sources such as heaters,

engines, and boilers. High temperatures can cause the latex to become sticky and wear, a serious risk.

Humidity: Keep the environment dry and avoid direct contact with water or storage in humid areas

(such as under shower counters). This can cause mold in the lining and degradation of the latex.

Chemical Isolation: Store away from chemicals such as oils, solvents, acids, and alkalis.

Chemical vapors can penetrate through the gaps in the packaging bag and corrode the latex, destroying its elasticity.

3. Proper Storage: Preventing Squeezing and Deformation

Optimal Position: Place the entire bag of gloves horizontally on a shelf or pallet. This ensures even distribution of force

within the bag, preventing deformation of the bottom gloves caused by prolonged vertical storage. It also effectively

reduces the risk of the frosted surfaces sticking together.

Avoid Heavy Pressure: Never place heavy objects on top of the glove packaging. Excessive pressure can force

the frosted particles into close contact, potentially causing irreversible adhesion even at room temperature.

4. Maintain Packaging Integrity and Ventilation

Packaging Inspection: Before storage, inspect the transparent packaging for integrity. If there are any tears,

seal them with tape or place the entire bag in a larger sealed bag/storage carton.

Ensure Ventilation: The storage area should have good air circulation. Avoid storing gloves in completely

sealed cartons for long periods of time (unless the original carton has ventilation holes) to prevent heat buildup

 and odor accumulation.

5. Management Standards: "First-in, First-out".

Mark the storage date on the outer packaging of each bag of gloves with a marker.

During use, strictly adhere to the "first-in, first-out" principle to ensure continuous inventory rotation,

and always use the oldest bag.
